HGV Class 2 Driver – Stoke-on-Trent

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for flexible and ongoing agency work in Stoke-on-Trent.

We are looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers who are ready and available to work. This is ideal for an HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular work, additional shifts or flexible opportunities.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

* Safely driving HGV Class 2 vehicles

* Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections

* Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

* Loading and unloading goods where required

* Ensuring loads are safely secured

* Following drivers' hours, tachograph and road traffic regulations

* Completing delivery paperwork accurately

* Maintaining good customer service

* Reporting vehicle defects, accidents or incidents

* Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

* Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence

* Valid Driver CPC

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience

* Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and drivers' hours

* Good communication and time-management skills

* Ability to carry out manual handling duties

* Reliable, professional and safety-conscious

Previous Class 2, commercial or multi-drop experience is desirable, but we welcome drivers who are looking to develop their experience.
