HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £40,000
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established and growing environmental services business. The Role
Collecting waste from domestic and commercial customers
Operating a tanker vehicle safely and efficiently
Providing a high level of customer service and building strong relationships
Offering basic guidance to customers on waste systems where required
Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
Taking part in an on-call rota, including occasional out-of-hours work
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
A reliable and professional approachPrevious experience within waste management is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
