Drivers Direct Recruitment: HGV Class 2 Drivers Needed in Sunbury
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity? We have immediate starts available in the Sunbury area!
Shift Details:
* Monday to Friday
* Start times: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM
* Weekend shifts also available
Pay Rate:
* £18.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
* Permanent salary: £36,500
Job Description:
* Multidrop deliveries of refrigerated goods to commercial or residential locations
* Deliveries involve transporting pallets into London with 2-3 runs back and forth to the depot for reloading
* Ensure safe and secure loading, transport, and delivery of goods
* Aim to complete all deliveries on time
* Comply with all legislation related to the operation of the company vehicle, including driver-related matters (hours, speed, etc.)
* Perform other operational tasks as directed by operational and/or transport staff
* Highlight any potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage, to your manager
* Complete necessary process control and quality documents in a timely manner (QC checks)
Requirements:
* Valid HGV 2 (Cat C) license
* Valid CPC card
* Valid Digital Tacho card
* Minimum of 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (due to insurance stipulations)
* No more than 3 points on the license (No DR, DD, or IN convictions)
* Pallet work experience
* Successful completion of a driving assessment prior to work starting
