The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering excellent customer service.
Duties Include:
Operating Class 2 (Category C) vehicles, including double-deck units
Completing multi-drop deliveries across scheduled routes
Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
Maintaining accurate delivery and vehicle records
Planning routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
Communicating professionally with customers and transport teams
Assisting with loading and unloading when required
Complying with all UK driving regulations, tachograph requirements, and health & safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Good understanding of UK transport legislation and driving regulations
Ability to carry out manual handling duties
Strong communication and organisational skills
Reliable and professional approach to work
Clean driving licence preferred
