Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25
Minimum 6 months experience required for this role
PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 2 driver are as follows:
Days: £15.26 per hour
Nights £16.15 per hour
Saturday: £17.92 per hour
Sunday: 18.81 per hour
Bank Holiday: £19.81 per hour
Your Time at Work
We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. The role involves delivering to a variety of commercial and retail customer locations using 18T and 7.5T rigid vehicles. Deliveries include pallets, cages, and dollies, with full training provided on all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi drop deliveries using 18T and 7.5T vehicles
- Deliveries including pallets, cages and dollies
- Daily vehicle walk round checks
- Using Handheld Terminals to scan deliveries, obtain proof of delivery and manage returns and collections
We are mainly looking for drivers to work Monday to Friday and overtime may be available on weekends. Shift start times are between 03:00 and 07:00.

Our Perfect Worker
As an experienced HGV1 Driver you will ideally have -
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Comfortable with multi drop 7.5T and 18T deliveries
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional attitude
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and DCPC
