Description:
Rapier Employment are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client in Didcot.
** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
Position: Class 1 driver - trunking
Pay: £17.00 - £18.63 per hour
Hours: Start times will vary. Days and night drivers.
Days: Available 5 out of 7 days. Weekend availability is required due to nature of the business.
Role includes, and not limited to:
Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules.
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
No more than 9 points on your licence.
Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills.
Available to work weekdays and weekend work.
Valid CPC card and digital tacho card.
