Class 1 HGV Driver - Afternoon/Evening Tramping Shift
Client Location: Eccles, Manchester, M30
Depot Start Location: Cheshire
Pay: Up to £225 per day, depending on experience
Job Type: Temporary contract - 120 hours

Fusion People are currently advertising for Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of one of our esteemed clients based in Eccles, Manchester.
Our client is a growing, family-run haulage company operating from a secure site in Eccles. Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for reliable and professional Class 1 drivers to support them on a temporary 120-hour contract.
Drivers will start from a depot in Cheshire, working on an afternoon/evening shift, with the earliest start time from 15:00. Candidates must also be willing to tramp as part of the role.
There is also the possibility for the contract to be extended, with further work available down the line. For the right candidate, this could also potentially lead to a permanent role.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers who are happy with tramping work and want to join a friendly company offering modern equipment, strong support, and work across multiple contracts.

Duties will include:
Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and professionally
Starting from a depot in Cheshire
Completing UK-wide deliveries and collections
Tramping as required
Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Ensuring all paperwork and compliance requirements are completed correctly
Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 / Category CE Licence
Valid CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
Amazon compliant preferred
Reliable and professional attitude
Must be willing to tramp
Must live in the UK and be able to reliably commute to the depot in Cheshire
Able to travel across the UK when required
