HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver
Position: HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday AM: £16.25 per hour
Monday to Friday PM: £17.37 per hour
Saturday: £17.93 per hour
Sunday: £20.17 per hour
Role Description:
We are seeking dedicated and professional HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join our team. Our tankers transport non-ADR, food-grade products such as chocolate, jam, oil, and milk. We operate a fleet of well-maintained MAN trucks
Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient transportation of food-grade liquids
Conduct vehicle checks and complete necessary paperwork
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Minimum of 12 months driving experience on HGV class 1
Experience with tanker driving preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Good communication and organisational skills
Training:
Initial Assessment: Includes driving assessments, paperwork completion, and vehicle walk-arounds.
On-the-Job Training: Successful candidates will receive a couple of days of hands-on training the following week to ensure they are fully prepared for the role.
