About the Role
SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Cover Drivers to join their transport operation based in Bradford, BD4.
This is an excellent opportunity for flexible and professional drivers who enjoy variety in their work. As a Cover Driver, you will work across a range of different contracts, supporting the operation wherever required. Duties will vary from yard shunting to RDC trunking and delivery work, offering a diverse and rewarding role.

* Minimal manual handling
What You'll Be Doing
* Safely operating a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle.
* Carrying out yard shunting duties when required.
* Completing RDC trunking and delivery work.
* Conducting daily vehicle safety checks.
* Completing all relevant transport documentation accurately.
* Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely.
* Following all road transport legislation and company procedures.
* Providing reliable cover across a variety of contracts and operational requirements.
What We Are Looking For
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous Class 1 driving experience.
* Experience with RDC work and/or shunting is desirable but not essential.
* A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work.
* Good communication skills and a strong understanding of driver compliance.
