We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV CLASS 1 Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
* Operate lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
* Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
* Adhere to all health and safety standards, including compliance with road traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
* Must hold driver CPC.
* Must hold HGV class 1 licence
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
* Excellent time-management skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Respectable appearance.

* Good geographic knowledge.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.

* Refrigerated work experience is an advantage.
