HGV Class 1 Driver (Days)
Location – Devizes (SN10)
Salary - £15 - £16.50 PER HOUR Paye & Ltd

Shift pattern/days worked – 4 on 4 off
Days
We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for 4 on 4 off from 15th April completing day shunting shifts.
The role is completing shunting movements between two sites high level of customer service, happy to move cages of and off the trailer.
Duties:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods between two sites in Devizes
- Load and unload cages
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
The role is for 6 weeks you will need to complete a induction prior in Shepton Mallet which will take 2 hours.
