Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking competitive annual earnings, a structured shift pattern and a long-term driving position.

Salary and Shift Pattern
* Average annual salary: £54,500
* Shift pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off, followed by 5 days on, 1 day off, on a repeating rotation.
* Job type: Full-time
* Licence required: HGV Class 1 (Category C+E)
* Experience required: Minimum of 1 year of professional HGV Class 1 driving experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
* Transport goods efficiently and complete deliveries within scheduled timeframes.
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
* Comply with drivers’ hours regulations, tachograph requirements and the Working Time Directive.
* Complete delivery documentation and proof of delivery accurately.
* Follow route instructions and comply with site-specific health and safety procedures.
* Carry out trailer coupling and uncoupling safely.
* Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers, colleagues and site personnel.
* Ensure the vehicle is operated safely and responsibly at all times.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
* A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
* At least 1 year of professional HGV Class 1 driving experience.
* A valid Driver CPC qualification.
* A valid digital tachograph card.
* A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and road transport legislation.
* A strong commitment to health, safety and legal compliance.
* Good timekeeping, reliability and a responsible approach to work.
* The ability to work the advertised rotating shift pattern.
