Strive Staffing Solutions are currently working with a fantastic client in the St Albans area who are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

???? The Role
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer service.
???? Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
???? Loading, securing and unloading goods
???? Completing pre-journey vehicle checks
???? Planning routes and managing delivery schedules
???? Completing delivery paperwork and tachograph records
???? Liaising professionally with customers and the transport team
???? Following all relevant driving, safety and working-time regulations
✅ What We’re Looking For
✔️ Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
✔️ No more than 6 penalty points
✔️ Previous commercial driving experience
✔️ Experience with flatbed or general recycling haulage is highly desirable
✔️ Good knowledge of road safety and load security
✔️ Strong time-management and organisational skills
✔️ Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
⭐ Long-distance or multi-drop experience is advantageous.
