HGV Class 1 Driver
Location – Croydon
Salary - £14 - £19 per hour
We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers in Croydon.
Key tasks:
* Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations
* Supervise the loading of palletised goods
* Plan route making sure pallets are strapped down correctly
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a HGV Driver
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Strong communication and customer service skills
