CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER - FILM SET WORK - AYLESBURY
SRG Recruitment are seeking professional LGV 1 / C+E / HGV Class 1 Drivers who are looking for a new and exciting challenge working for a film set and production company based in the Aylesbury area. This is a job out of the ordinary and a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking to get involved in something different from standard HGV driving work.
You will be responsible for transporting film production equipment, vehicles, props and other essential items to and from film sets and production locations. You could be working on some of the biggest and most popular film and TV productions, making this a unique opportunity for drivers who enjoy varied work and meeting different people.
Start times are generally PM or nights, however, this client operates 24/7, so flexibility is essential. You may be required to work a mixture of days, evenings, nights and weekends depending on production schedules and requirements.
The role will involve safe and professional Class 1 HGV driving, loading and unloading equipment, completing vehicle checks, ensuring loads are secure and delivered safely, and working closely with the production and transport teams on site. Due to the nature of the role, excellent customer service and communication skills are important.
Requirements & Role

Full LGV 1 / HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 1 year

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

No DD, DR, CD, DG or IN endorsement codes

Previous Class 1 HGV / LGV 1 driving experience

Good understanding of UK roads and geographical knowledge

Good knowledge of WTD and Drivers' Hours regulations

Good spoken and written English

Flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends

Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude

Transporting film production equipment to various film sets and locations

Loading, unloading and securing equipment safely

Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Working alongside film production crews and transport teams

Providing excellent customer service while on site
