We are delighted to announce an uplift in rates for HGV 1 Drivers in the Swindon area - This has to be the highest rates of pay in the area!!
About the HGV 1 Driver role:
* Various Shifts available including full time, part time, weekends, ad-hoc days - Just let us know what you are looking for!!
* Work available across 7 days, with start various start times from 3am
* Pay Rates
* £22ph - Mon to Fri, between 06:00 - 22:00
* £24ph - Mon to Fri, between 22:00 - 06:00
* £30ph - Saturday, between 00:00 - 23:59
* £34ph - Sunday & Bank Holidays, between 00:00 - 23:59
* If you are looking for full time work we can guarantee 5 shifts per week (subject to signing up to a weekly shift pattern).
Duties for the HGV 1 Driver Role:
* Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen foods across the South West
* Store deliveries 2/3 drops per day
* Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
* Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
* Secure cargo properly using appropriate methods and equipment
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
* Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations
Skills / Experience required for HGV 1 Driver Role:
* Minimum 6 months experience but will accept newly qualified drivers for temp to perm positions
* Full valid CE Licence, Digi Card & Drivers CPC Card
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences (No DR's, DD's etc)
* A goood understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
* Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions
* Good communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
