I am recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join an established manufacturing business based in Goole.

This is a permanent, salaried position offering £41,000 per annum, alongside an overnight allowance for nights away and a strong benefits package.

The role

You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries across mainland UK, pulling tautliners and delivering products to customer sites, as well as collecting empty IBCs.

The position involves typically 2 nights out per week, occasionally 3, so applicants must be comfortable with regular nights away from home.

Hours will vary depending on order volumes but will average no more than 48 hours per week over a 17-week reference period.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Completing planned multi-drop delivery routes safely and efficiently
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring full roadworthiness and legal compliance
Checking and completing delivery documentation
Maintaining communication with the Planning team regarding delays or delivery issues
Ensuring compliance with UK/EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
Maintaining a professional standard when representing the business at customer sitesWhat's on offer
