Job Title: HGV ADR Class 1 Driver
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: East Midlands Gateway
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Salary: £896.54 per week plus £31.25 per night out
Working Hours; Guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week plus 5 hours overtime. Nights out are a regular part of this role.

The Role
This is a Class 1 cover driver position working on a contracted logistics operation at East Midlands Gateway. The role involves a range of tasks including trailer swaps, trunking, and deliveries and collections to commercial premises.
You will be working independently on behalf of the end client, who will be your point of contact for operational and trailer matters. All vehicle and work-related issues are handled directly by our client. Training is provided where needed to get you settled into the role.
ADR deliveries are a core part of this position. Candidates who already hold an ADR licence (all classes except 1 and 7) will be prioritised, though training will be provided to the right candidate if required.
Nights out are part of this role and are compensated at £31.25 per night. All loads must be safely strapped and secured in line with legal and company requirements. Any delays or issues must be communicated promptly to maintain service standards.
What We Are Looking For
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Valid digital tachograph card
* Up to date CPC card
* ADR licence, all classes except 1 and 7 (desirable, training available for the right candidate)
* Comfortable with regular nights out as part of the role
* Keen, efficient and committed to safe working practices
* Able to work independently and take ownership of your work
