Weekends: Weekend shifts available

The Role
We are currently recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers for work based in Birkenhead, covering projects across the UK.
The work is primarily within highways and new-build housing projects, involving approximately 80% labouring and 20% driving. Drivers will be required to assist with cleaning out lines and other site-based duties alongside driving responsibilities.
The work can involve travelling throughout the UK, with locations changing from week to week. Tramping is required, and drivers may be provided with hotel accommodation when working away. Some weeks may involve being away for the entire week.

Class 1 or Class 2 licence

Minimum 3 months' relevant experience

CSCS card – approximately £175

Highway Passport – approximately £40
*
Comfortable with manual gearbox vehicles

Flexible to travel and work away from home when required

Willing to carry out both driving and labouring duties
Induction & Training
A 30-minute induction will be completed on the first day. Additional training will be provided for drivers required to undertake night shifts.
