HGV Class 1 Driver – Days
Vanta Staffing are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a variety of clients across the Slough and Reading areas.
We have temporary day work available, with opportunities across a range of transport and logistics operations. Whether you are looking for regular ongoing work or additional shifts to fit around your availability, we would like to hear from you.
Requirements of an HGV Class 1 Driver:
Valid Category C+E driving licence
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
No more than 6 points on your driving licence
No DR or IN convictions
Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work
Role Details:
Day shifts available
Monday to Friday opportunities
Slough and Reading areas
Temporary and ongoing assignments available
Various start times depending on assignment
Competitive hourly rates depending on the client and assignment
HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
Completing allocated delivery and collection routes
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
Completing relevant paperwork
Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time and health & safety regulations
Representing our clients professionally while on the road
