HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers

Job Opportunity: Class 1 HGV Driver 

If you have held your licence for longer than 6 months & have recorded 60 days of driving then we have opportunities for regular ongoing work, for the right candidate this will be a a permanent role!

Position: Class 1 HGV Driver
Type of Shifts: Full time, Days, Nights & Weekends
Pay: Hourly, paid weekly

The Role includes:

Operating commercial HGV/LGV vehicles
Load and unload goods
Manual work
Ensure loads are safely secured
Follow instruction from traffic reports
Carrying out basic routine maintenance
Responsible for delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around checks or any documentation
Following the compliance regulations and laws that are apply

Requirements:

Be a Professional HGV Driver
Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Tachograph knowledge 
Licence held for a at least of 6 months, with at least 60 days driving recorded on your tachograph
Clean driving record
Great work ethic
Flexibility & Reliability 
We support you in getting your DBS
Provide a full 5-year reference history 

Driver Knowledge:

Good understanding of transportation laws and regulations
Great operation of HGVs 
Basic Understanding of maintenance and repair of HGVs
Used GPS & tracking devices

We have opportunities for the right candidates to support with further training after a period of employment is complete.
