This vacancy is for one of the UK’s leading independent glass processing businesses dealing in toughened glass, toughened laminated glass, and annealed laminated glass. Our client delivers nationwide to a Fors Gold standard working for the construction industry.
Due to their ongoing success and recent expansion of fleet they are looking for a new Class 2 HGV driver to join the team. If you think that you would like a varied and interesting career, then please apply.
Job Description
* HGV 2 full time work
* Monday to Friday work with one or two nights out per week
* Overnight stays will be taken in sleeper cab trucks
* Facilitate the company phone to carry out daily checks
* Approx 45hr per week
* RTITB Moffett licence will be provided for the right candidate if not already held by the driver.
Requirements
* 2 year experience driving HGV 2
* Must have CPC & Digi Card
* RTITB Fork lift licence (company will put through if the candidate doesn’t have this)
* No more than 6 points for minor offences
* No DR10’s or IN10’s
Advantages
* Permanent at our client after 12 working weeks
* £13.50ph for the first 12 weeks. Once permanent with the client £28,500 per year rising to £29,990 from May. Overtime of time and one half applied after 40 hours.
* Excellent rate of pay with possible overtime can earn up to £35.000 per year.
* When permanent with the client 20 days holiday a year plus 8 bank holidays. (Extra day after 5 years’ service, and another after 10 years).

* Monday to Friday work
* Client to provide Driver CPC training. (Client to provide 1 Driver CPC course per calendar year).
