Description:
National steel company based in Consett is currently requiring a HGV2 Driver with steel experience to work from 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate is £14.00 per hour for the HGV2 role and any overtime is paid after 8 hours Monday to Friday, and is paid at £21.00 per hour with a guaranteed 8 hours paid per day.
There will be 3 days training and going out with the companies driver, which covers paperwork, securing the load and health and safety.
Duties will be delivering steel products to other steel stockholders around the North East, Yorkshire and Scotland, but there will be NO nights out involved.
Applicants should have a valid HGV2 Licence, an up to date CPC, Digital Tachograph, and experience delivering steel products and with no DR/DD offences.
This HGV2 Role is on a temp to perm basis due to long term sickness and it is with an immediate start for the right HGV2 Driver
