Rapier Employment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy and successful retail operation in Brackmills, Northampton.

DAY SHIFTS
£18.52 per hour – Monday to Friday
£27.78 per hour – Overtime after 8 hours
£27.78 per hour – Every hour worked at weekends
Plus holiday payNIGHT SHIFTS
£19.75 per hour – Monday to Friday
£29.63 per hour – Overtime after 8 hours
£29.63 per hour – Every hour worked at weekends

FLEXIBLE SHIFT PATTERNSWe have a choice of regular rotas to suit different lifestyles:
SUNDAY – THURSDAY
Start times between 10:00–14:00 or from 17:00TUESDAY – SATURDAY

THE JOB
Retail deliveries and collections
Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles
Completing vehicle safety checks
Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
Completing relevant paperwork
Representing a professional transport operationWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months
Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitudeRetail delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
