Our client a well known and established High street retailer are looking for HGV 1 drivers across all shifts to complete collections and deliveries of ambient, chilled and frozen goods from suppliers or Distribution centres to stores.

MON TO FRIDAY - £186.00 PER SHIFT
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - £190.00 PER SHIFT THE ROLE
HGV 1 DRIVER
2- 4 DELIVERIES PER SHIFT
DELIVERING CHILLED FROZEN AND AMBIENT GOODS TO RETAILS STORES
ENSURING DELIVERY OF STICKS TO STORES IN SAFE PROFESSIONAL MANNER
ASSISTING OFFLOADING STOCK AT STORE
CHECKING AND COMPLETING PAPERWORK - CROSS CHECKING STOCK AGAINST MANIFEST
CHECKING LOAD IS SAFE AND SECURE
VEHICLE CHECKS AND REPORTING OF DEFECTS
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE:
Maximum of 6 minor points NO DD
Minimum 1-year HGV 1 UK driving experience
Must have driven at least 180 days in the last 2 years
Have valid cpc and Digi cards
Good understanding of English, written and verbal
Reliable, flexible with an excellent work ethic
Good customer service skills
Good Knowledge of UK roads and motorways
Pass a manual and written test
