Description:
Intrepid Global are seeking Class 1 Drivers to work out of of Southampton Docks, who currently has a DP World Card. Day shifts are 6am - 4pm approx, Night shifts are 5pm - 3am roughly.
£18 an hour
Responsibilities for Class 1 Drivers:
* Perform pre and post trip inspections on the vehicle
* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
* Deliver to 4-5 stores in different Locations
* Be available Mon-Fri
Skills/Abilities/Reasons why you would be a good fit for Class 1 Driver :
* 2 years minimum class 1 experience
* Valid driver’s licenses, CPCs and TACO
* Ability to use hand held or portable equipment (Preferred)
* Reliable/Continuous attendance/ability to work flexible hours (Required)
* Experienced with curtain side and pallet work
