24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for a client we are representing in the Mendlesham area, this is an ongoing role for the right candidate. The hours of 08:00 – 16:00 might extend once volume increases. You will be doing shunts to and from local a delivery point.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience
* Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
* No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
* Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
