Service Desk Supervisor - Building Services & Maintenance

Ongoing Temporary Role - Minimum 2 Months

???? Location: Hemel Hempstead / Central London
???? Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
???? Hourly Rate: £15.50 - £17.30 per hour
???? Contract: Ongoing temporary assignment (minimum 2 months)

A leading building services and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Service Desk Supervisor to support the business on an ongoing temporary basis due to long-term sickness cover within the team.

This is a hands-on supervisory role managing the daily operations of a busy service desk supporting mechanical, electrical and HVAC maintenance contracts across London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily service desk operations and coordinate engineer schedules
Manage PPMs, reactive maintenance and subcontractor activities
Oversee quotations, service reports, invoicing and CAFM updates
Ensure all works are completed within SLA and compliance standards
Liaise with customers, engineers and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery
Support operational efficiency, team productivity and customer satisfaction
Monitor RAMS, compliance documentation and maintenance renewals
Assist senior management with reporting and operational supportRequirements

Previous experience within a Service Desk Supervisor, Helpdesk Supervisor or Facilities Coordination role
Strong scheduling and coordination experience within FM/building services
Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience using CAFM systems
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIdeal Backgrounds

Facilities Management, HVAC, Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance, Engineering Coordination or Maintenance Helpdesk environments.
