Would you like an office role, with a mix of accurate Data Entry and telephone work?

A rare opportunity has arisen within a long established, and respected company based in the heart of Ashford, Kent, in their search for a computer literate person, with an excellent telephone manner and fantastic communication skills.

This opportunity combines data entry and verification, alongside responding to occasional telephone and email enquiries. Close attention to detail is a vital attribute for success in this role.

The principal responsibilities are:

* Taking inbound calls and handling queries from emergency services, motor dealers and members of the public

* Enter and update information on the International Security Register (ISR)

* Check data received electronically from vehicle manufacturers

* Make outgoing telephone calls to motor dealers and private customers to resolve data errors

* Investigate causes of any problems arising from electronic and manual data feeds and where appropriate suggest ways of resolving the issues

* Able to present and explain the company’s products and services

* To undertake any reasonable tasks requested by the Register Manager

Following an initial 6-week training period (on a 9am to 5pm day shift). The successful candidate will then transfer to a 39.5 hour week shift pattern, covering hours of between 8pm to 8am. This is a quiet environment, set in very secure premises.

The role does require weekend and bank holiday working, in line with the required shift pattern.
