About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Cladding & Structural Supervisor to oversee on-site works involving the installation of new substation shells and internal fit-out.
This is a fully site-based, hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with a strong background in heavy cladding, structural installation and construction site supervision. You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising operatives and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
This is a 100% site-based position with no office work involved.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the installation of new substation shells and associated structural elements.
* Oversee heavy cladding installation and internal fit-out works.
* Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and daily work activities.
* Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project deadlines.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety across all site activities.
* Monitor workmanship and quality throughout the installation process.
* Identify and resolve on-site issues to keep works progressing efficiently.
* Liaise with site management and other trades to coordinate activities.
* Ensure materials, equipment and labour are used effectively.
Requirements
* Proven experience supervising heavy cladding and structural installation works.
* Experience with internal fit-out and building or installing structural shells is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of construction site health and safety procedures.
* Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple work activities.
* Excellent practical problem-solving and communication skills.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to maintain site productivity and quality.
Pay & Start Date
* £30–£35 per hour (CIS)
* Immediate start – Monday 26th October 2026
* Full-time, site-based role.
