A fantastic opportunity to work for a family run Hertfordshire based domestic and commercial heating company that has worked very hard over the years and that is paying off. The company has also just started to do domestic air conditioning installations to capitalise on that growing trend. Due to expansion they are looking for an engineer to install domestic and commercial heating systems and domestic air conditioning equipment in people’s homes
* 90% of the time covering North west London, North East London and south Hertfordshire with some work being Essex or west London way
* Installing domestic and commercial heating systems along with all the relevant pipe work – NO BUILDING SITES
* And if you have the experience - Installing domestic air conditioning equipment in people’s homes as well as all of the relevant pipe work
* Working with a variety of commercial client across the region such as care homes, churches, NHS sites and of course people’s homes
Skills Needed to be a Heating & air conditioning engineer
* Living in or around the north west London or north east London or south Hertfordshire area
* Domestic and commercial gas certificates required as well as UP1A and UP1B
* Top tier pipe work skills
* Basic electrical skills for wiring up controls
* Experience installation domestic and commercial heating systems needed
* Experience installing domestic air conditioning systems would be very very beneficial
* F gas cert needed
* You need a ‘can do’ attitude and be looking for a long term position with good progression
* Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
* IPAF and PASMA would be beneficial but not essential
*** The company would also consider an engineer who has all of the heating installation experience but no domestic air conditioning experience so they can train you on that ***
Salary and Benefits of a gas & air conditioning Installation Engineer
* 48-53k basic depending on experience
* Van, Phone, Fuel card, specialist tools, uniform
* 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
* No weekend rota but A lot of overtime if you want it
* Progression as they are wanting to build a team around you
* Further training on air conditioning installation
