Health & Safety Manager
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: 40 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Start: ASAP
Rate: DOE
Think Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a major international distribution centre project in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale industrial shed development, with approximately 40 weeks of work and the potential for the contract to be extended.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out regular site inspections and audits.
Ensuring all works are compliant with current H&S legislation and company procedures.
Producing reports and maintaining accurate H&S documentation.
Conducting inductions and toolbox talks.
Identifying and mitigating site risks.
Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions where required.
Working closely with the site team, subcontractors and client to promote a positive safety culture.Requirements:
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential).
Previous experience as a Health & Safety Manager on large construction projects.
Industrial / warehouse / distribution centre experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
