Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care
Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference? At Apollo Home Healthcare, we are recruiting compassionate and dedicated Female Healthcare Assistants to support a 4-year-old child with complex healthcare needs on a 1:1 basis within her family home and nursery setting.

Available Shifts
* Part-Time Days: Monday & Tuesday, 10:00am – 4:00pm
* Part-Time Nights: Thursday & Saturday, 9:30pm – 8:00am
Pay Rate: £14.00–£16.00 per hour
This little girl is expressive and enjoys sensory play, music, Disney films, and story time. She thrives with familiar faces and consistent routines, and you'll play an important role in helping her feel safe, comfortable, and engaged while supporting her development.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide specialist 1:1 complex care, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, routine and emergency tracheostomy tube changes, full support with personal care, and mobility assistance. During day shifts, you will also support her at nursery, encouraging her to participate in activities, engage with others, and enjoy her favourite toys, music, and sensory play.
We're looking for proactive Healthcare Assistants with previous experience supporting children or young people (aged 0–18 years) with a tracheostomy. You must be confident carrying out emergency tracheostomy tube changes and have a strong background in complex care. Excellent communication skills, patience, and a compassionate, person-centred approach are essential.
