In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring that individuals are supported with dignity, respect, and the highest standard of safety.

Please note, this is a direct-hire, active employment position for experienced individuals looking to step straight into a fast-paced clinical environment, rather than a trainee academy or entry-level placement scheme.

Key Responsibilities

*

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, while promoting their independence and dignity.

*

Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any changes to the nursing staff immediately.

*

Support nursing and medical staff during clinical procedures and daily rounds.

*

Ensure patient beds, rooms, and clinical environments are kept clean, safe, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

*

Serve meals and assist patients with eating and drinking, adhering to specific dietary requirements or care plans.

*

Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience working as an HCA or Support Worker in a hospital, clinic, or residential care setting.

An NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable, along with a completed Care Certificate.

*

A naturally empathetic and patient-focused approach, with the resilience to handle emotionally and physically demanding situations.

*

A solid understanding of safeguarding protocols, infection control, and health and safety guidelines.

*

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
