CDM Manager | Derby | Major Long-Term Project
Shirley Parsons is partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced CDM Manager for a high-profile programme based in Derby.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a landmark project with an expected lifespan of 10-15 years, offering long-term security, career progression and the chance to play a key role in one of the UK's most significant construction developments.
The Role
As CDM Manager, you will take the lead on ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, working closely with clients, designers, contractors and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Providing CDM and Health & Safety advice across major construction projects
Acting as Principal Designer representative where required
Reviewing and coordinating design risk management processes
Supporting compliance with CDM Regulations 2015
Undertaking design reviews and facilitating risk workshops
Engaging with project teams to promote best practice in health, safety and design management
Producing and reviewing pre-construction information and health & safety files
Requirements
Proven experience in a CDM Manager, Principal Designer or similar CDM-focused position
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
Previous construction project experience
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Relevant health & safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
Membership of a relevant professional body desirable
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC)
