The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a major construction project delivering a large worker accommodation base in the Sizewell C area of Suffolk.
This is an opportunity for an experienced construction Health & Safety professional to take a key role in maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance throughout the project.
The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the project's health and safety requirements, working closely with the project management and site teams to ensure safe systems of work and strong safety standards are maintained.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience working within a Main Contractor environment and be confident operating within a demanding construction setting.
About You
Candidates must have:
A relevant UK Construction Health & Safety qualification
A minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Main Contractor
Strong experience in a construction health and safety role
Experience working within a site-based construction environment
Good knowledge of UK construction health and safety requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The confidence to work with site teams, management and contractors
A proactive approach to identifying and managing health and safety risks
Location & Accommodation
The project is located near Sizewell C in Suffolk.
Accommodation can be provided for suitable candidates who are relocating or are not local to the area.
