Description:
New opportunity to lead the Heath & Safety function for an industry-leading, innovative manufacturer in the Cwmbran area.
A new role for the business, this is an opportunity to put H&S at the heart of the business pulling together all the H&S activity on site, work cross-functionally to engage and train all the staff, support with audits and really drive and deliver the behavioural safety culture.
Due to the nature of the business, this will be a varied and exciting role with some unusual H&S challenges both on-site and in the field.
A pivotal role for the business, leading a wide range of H&S initiatives, responsibilities include the development and implementation of a wide range of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards; managing the documentation, root cause analysis and reporting of incidents; and leading the continuous improvement culture across the site.
Part of a global group, this role comes with excellent progression potential.
This is a hybrid role with 4 days a week on site and a Friday from home (early finish on a Friday). This role comes with a base salary in the region of £50k, plus benefits.
