We are seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies, policies and procedures across the University.
The postholder will provide proactive and professional leadership on all health and safety matters, empowering managers and colleagues with the knowledge and tools necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment, promoting the wellbeing of our students and staff alike.
They will ensure and monitor compliance with University, statutory and stakeholder health and safety requirements, and foster a positive safety-conscious safety culture across the University.
The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH Diploma level qualification and proven experience in health and safety management. They will display a genuine enthusiasm and passion for health and safety, with a conscientious and professional attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience of working in a higher education and/or creative industry setting would be an advantage.
