The company:

Based in Peterborough, you will be joining a well-known multipurpose manufacturing company with a worldwide presence.

Due to continuous progression and long-term business, the company is seeking a Health and Safety assistant to work in a small team managing the day-to-day health and safety operations for the UK plant. This is a junior role in which the company is looking to hire someone with manufacturing quality experience or health and safety experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone to learn and progress in their Health and Safety career.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Deliver safe methods of working throughout the plant to employees.
Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management program.
Carry pit regular review of quality and performance metrics.
Prepare for and run Internal and External audits.
Day-day maintenance of the quality systems covering a wide range of standards.This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in safety (Ideally within a manufacturing environment)
Experience in ISO: 9001
Health and safety qualifications are advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Ability to manage your time efficiently and work to deadlines.
