Health, Safety and Audit Manager

Description:

Irwin and Colton has been engaged by a specialist sub-contractor to recruit their new Health and Safety Auditor. The company are going through a massive growth phase, and with that are keen to increase their specialist health and safety team. This role will be working across a range of projects, directly reporting into the organisation's Head of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Auditor will include:

Auditing against the ISO Management Systems ISO9001, 14001 and 45001, ensuring the management system and best practices

Co-ordinate and communicate new QHSE initiatives across the business
Regularly visit sites, auditing & reporting on companywide QHSE performance The successful Health and Safety Auditor will have:

IOSH Managing Safely or ISO Auditor qualifications
Ideally experience within an internal auditing or similar role within the industry
Good communication skills
A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team This role would suit an ambitious health and safety professional looking to further grow and develop their career.
