Description:
We are seeking an experienced and professional Health and Safety Coordinator to join a fit out contractor for a high end project in Central London for a permeant role
The ideal Health & Safety Coordinator will be able to demonstrate experience of ensuring that all work on site is carried out with minimum risk to personnel, plant and materials as well as identifying all foreseeable risks and making sure they are brought to the attention of workers likely to be affected
Health & Safety is an important part of this role and the applicant must be able to set high personal standards in the application of the Health & Safety process and procedures.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator in the construction industry, particularly in high-end construction projects
* In-depth knowledge of local and national health and safety regulations and standards
* Strong understanding of construction processes, including an awareness of the unique safety challenges posed by high-end construction projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage personnel at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar will be advantageous
* Relevant Health & Safety degree or diploma
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks while adhering to tight deadlines
* A commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and fostering an environment where safety is paramount
* Physical fitness and willingness to work on construction sites as needed
