Description:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a reputable and long-standing business based in Andover.
The key purpose of this role is to support the Quality & Compliance Systems Manager to implement and maintain the Company’s systems and processes for compliance to legal requirements.
Key responsibilities for a Health & Safety Administrator:

Ensure Organisational Compliance to Health & Safety Regulations including:
*
COSHH – Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.
*
RoHS – The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
*
REACH – Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals.
*
WEEE – Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
*
RIDDOR – Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulation 2013
*
PPE – Personal Protective Equipment.
*
Creating and maintaining Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
*
Monitoring changes in regulations and initiating changes required to remain compliant.
*
Coordinate accident reporting and records.
*
Coordinate Fire Safety measures and records.
*
Assist with Quality System, compliance and facilities tasks as requested by your manager.
*
Monitor and regulate Internal e-learning system.
*
Undertake additional duties as requested by your manager.
Desirable requirements for a Health & Safety Administrator:
*
NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications or be studying towards would be a huge advantage but this is not essential.
*
Have an understanding of general engineering and/or Quality systems.
*
An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to develop solutions.
*
Effective communicator to all stakeholders.
*
Excellent organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*
Knowledge of MS Office.
