Currently Looking for a Health Care Assistants to work with Elderly, who may require one-to-one support , based in a care home West Drayton, West London The role is ongoing based on picking up shift bases
The Ideal Candidate will be:
* Assisting residents with personal care and dressing
* Assisting residents with incontinence needs
* Assisting residents with repositioning - must be able to use required equipment - hoist, stand aid, slide sheet etc.
* Assisting with food and fluids
* Helping with laundry, cleaning, preparing meals
* Record all relevant documents accurately - must have good verbal and written skills
Experience, Skills and Ability
* • Proven relevant care work experience for at least 2 years in a care/residential home
* • Proven experience of working within a team
* • Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision
* • Good communication skills
* • Numeracy and literacy skills
* • IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email, and word
* Current DBS and Valid Manual Handling Training required
