£80-100 per dayWe are looking for a health care assistant in North London to support young people with a wide range of complex needs and learning difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).

This health care assistant role will be based in an SEN school working with primary school students. You will be working alongside the class teacher, providing support to small groups or individual students.

The school is easily accessible from around London, with excellent transport links.

Willingness to do personal care is preferred.

Health Care Assistant Responsibilities:

Working with and supporting students with various and complex special educational needs, which may include students with ASD, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
Providing health and medical support to students as necessary.
To work closely with students under the direction of the teachers, monitoring students' work.
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed.
Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control.
Assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.Health Care Assistant Requirements:

The right to work in the UK.
A clear and up-to-date DBS.
Experience working as a health care assistant.
