As a reputable Education Recruitment Consultant, we are currently seeking a full-time health care support worker to join a supportive and nurturing environment, working closely with PMLD students in a school-based setting. Your role will be instrumental in providing essential care and support to these remarkable students, helping them to flourish and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities of the Health care Support Worker (PMLD) include:
- Delivering compassionate assistance with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing, always ensuring dignity and respect.
- Supporting students with mobility and physical requirements, creating a safe and nurturing space for their growth.
- Administering medication as prescribed and diligently following individual care plans provided by health care professionals.
- Providing emotional support and fostering social interaction among students, encouraging meaningful connections.
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and actively contributing to classroom activities.
- Assisting with the implementation of sensory and therapeutic activities, enriching the student's learning experiences.
