Staff Development opportunities Role Overview:
The Health and Social Care Department is looking for a lecturer with a background in health to teach Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care programmes, including the new T-level in Health Science starting in 2025.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, and undertaking associated tutorial duties. The successful candidate will also serve as a course leader for one or more programmes, reporting to the Head of Department.

Sounds good, what do we need?

Experience in teaching and assessing Health and Social Care programmes or Health Science subjects
Relevant occupational competency and experience in the Health sector
A passion for their subject and the ability to inspire learners
Strong organisational and time-management skills
A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications or industry experience
A full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS), though applicants with a Level 3 teaching qualification willing to undertake a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training will be considered Next steps
