Job Title: Health & Social Care Lecturer

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £27,425 - £40,369 per annum

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce Team are currently partnered with a leading FE College in the Cambridgeshire area who we are currently working together with finding an excellent teacher of Health & Social Care, to work with Post 16 students at their Cambridge campus, to start in the new academic year.  We have outstanding teaching and leisure facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields. Key Duties:

Deliver high quality teaching and learning to a timetable that may include evening, Saturday and summer periods.
Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programmes.
Provide teaching and assessment opportunities in line with the relevant awarding organisation requirements to promote access to achievement.
Provide and maintain teaching materials on the VLE and other online platforms
Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
Undertake the necessary administrative tasks required for the effective operation of programmes in the area
Requirements:

A relevant Teaching Qualification would be required for this role (PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
Prior experience teaching Health & Social Care up to Level 3, whether in a classroom or in the sector.
A relevant degree within the subject (Bachelors minimum ideally).
An Assessors Award is desireable for this role, or a willingness to work towards one, however not essential.
Knowledge of the Health & Social curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
