Health and Safety Officer
£35,000-£40,000, Huddersfield, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Job Role
Due to continued success our Huddersfield based Manufacturing client are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing HS policies
Conducting Risk assessment
Providing necessary training to fellow employees on H&S matters and emergency procedures
Incident investigation
Monitoring Compliance
Developing emergency response plan
Managing environmental programs including waste management
Collaborate and communicate with management, employees, regulatory agencies to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
Identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance health and safety at the workplace.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience with COMAH regulations compliance, implementation and manging systems. You will have strong communication and analytical skills and stay updated with regulatory changes and industry best practices. We also require you to be IOSH or NEBOSH accredited professional.
