Health And Safety Manager (Part Time)

Are you an experienced Health & Safety Manager looking for a part time opportunity in the Swindon area? If you can commit to 16 hours each week then we would love to hear from you! The company we are recruiting is offering flexibility on days / hours.

About the Role:

* Salary of £20K-£25K per annum, dependent on experience

* Flexible working hours (16 hours per week)

The primary purpose of the Health & Safety Manager is to advise the Senior Management Team on safety issues, to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and the safeguarding of employees.

Main responsibilities, will include but not be limited to:

* Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures

* Assess and monitor health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, identifying areas for development

* Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines

* Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training

* Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions

* Investigate accidents and incidents to find cause and take prevention measures for further incidents

* Managing emergency procedures (such as fire alarm drills) and organising emergency teams such as fire marshals and first aiders.

Skills & Attributes required:

* Proven experience within a similar role

* Knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines

* NEBOSH Diploma

* Certified in COSHH

* Experience of working to COMAH regulations

* Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
