We are supporting a leading specialist utilities contractor in recruiting an experienced Health and Safety Manager. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to drive safety excellence and operational success across the South East region.
Responsibilities of the Interim Health and Safety Manager will include:
Developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies across various projects.
Ensuring compliance with UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.
Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to proactively manage risks.
Promoting continuous improvement initiatives to embed safety protocols.
Delivering engaging HSE training to maintain high employee competency and safety awareness.The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience managing HSE in construction, utilities, or water sectors.
NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and audit processes.
